लव जिहाद, कभी भी, कहीं भी ..

आज और कल के समाचार पत्रों में अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर के दो समाचार प्रकाशित हुए जिनका सीधा सा सम्बंध हिन्दुओं के अस्तित्व से है। इन समाचारों का अगर तार्किक दृष्टि से निष्पक्ष ( सेकुलर नहीं) विश्लेषण किया जाये तो सारा सच हमारे सामने आ जाता है कि पूरी दुनिया और गैर हिन्दु पंथ, सरकारे सभी हिन्दु नाम के प्राणी को केवल इतिहास के पन्नों की वस्तु बना देने के लिए प्रयासरत है।

पहला समाचार:-

विश्व के तथाकथित दारोगा अमेरिका द्वारा धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता पर एक गलोबल रिपोर्ट जारी की गई है जिसमें मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण की राह पर चलने वाली भारत की मनमोहन सिंह सरकार को तो अल्पसंख्यकों ( जिनकी संख्या कुल भारतीय आबादी का 30 प्रति. है) के अधिकारों, जान-माल और परम्पराओं की रक्षक होने का अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय सेकुलर प्रमाण पत्र जारी किया गया है, दूसरी ओर भारत के सर्वाधिक प्रगतिशील और हर दृष्टि से शांत राज्य गुजरात की सरकार और मुख्यमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को साम्प्रदायिक होने, हिन्दु विरोधियों की जान-माल के दुश्मन के रूप में दिखाया गया है। इसके साथ ही जहां भी गैर कांग्रेसी या भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकारे है उनको भी इसी श्रेणी में रखा गया है। आखिर इस रिपोर्ट के क्या मायने है

सन 2001 में भारत में इसाई पंथ के सबसे बड़े धर्मगुरू पोप का भारत आगमन हुआ था, भारत में अपने कार्यक्रम के दौरान पोप ने फरमाया कि इसाई धर्म विश्व का सबसे प्रगतिशील, वैज्ञानिक व बड़ा धर्म है। ईसा की प्रथम सहस्त्राब्दि में हमारे पूर्वजों ने अमेरिका क्षेत्र को, दूसरी सहस्त्राब्दि में पूरे यूरोप को ईसाई बनाया है और अब हमारी खुली घोषणा है कि इस तीसरी सहस्त्राब्दि में हम भारत और शेष एशिया को प्रभु ईसा मसीह के चरणों में डाल देगें। पोप पूरे विश्वभर के ईसाई देशों की सरकारों पर अपना प्रभाव रखते है और पोप की आज्ञा का पालन करना सभी ईसाई देश मसीही कार्य मानते है इस कारण प्रतिवर्ष लाखो डालर चंदा वेटिकन को धर्म प्रसार के नाम पर मिलता है यह एक अलग बात है कि उस चन्दे का एक बड़ा हिस्सा इसाई पादरियों के द्वारा किए गए यौनाचार का मुआवजा देने में खर्च हो जाता है। खैर, इस पर चर्चा आगामी लेखों में करेगंे!

विभिन्न सरकारों द्वारा ईसाई धर्म प्रचार-प्रसार के नाम पर आने वाला चंदा वेटिकन के माध्यम से पूरी दुनिया में संचालित विभिन्न चर्चो में भेजा जाता है, चर्च अपनी सुविधा और योजना अनुसार इस धनराशि को खर्च करते है लेकिन लक्ष्य सभी का एक रहता है - धर्मान्तरण। पूरे विश्वभर में इस समय लगभग 10 हजार नामों से ईसाई मिशन कार्यरत है जो राहत कार्य, शिक्षा, रोजगार, चिकित्सा आदि के नाम पर भोले-भाले नागरिकों को बरगला कर उन्हे अपने पंथ में दीक्षित करते है यानि कि अन्य धर्मो से ईसाई बनाते है। अगर दुनिया की कोई भी सरकार इस काम में अड़चन पैदा करती है तो ईसाई संगठन अपने प्रभाव वाले क्षेत्र में अशांति पैदा कर अलगाव और आतंक की आग भड़का सकते है जैसे कि भारत के पूर्वोत्तर के राज्यों में हो रहा है। दूसरे नम्बर पर विभिन्न समुदायों और जातियों के मध्य संघर्ष पैदा कर सकते है, तीसरे अलग-अलग प्रकार के सर्वव्यापी दुर्लभ नस्ल के प्राणियों जिन्हे धर्मनिरेपक्ष या सेकुलर तत्व कहा जाता है, को साथ लेकर अल्पसंख्यकों पर भारी अत्याचार हो रहा है, इनके मानवाधिकारों का हनन हो रहा है, का शोर करते है। अगर मिशनरी के ये सारे हथियार फुस्स हो जाये, इनका कोई बस न चले तो .......। तो भी ये लोग हिम्मत नहीं हारते इनका सबसे बड़ा हथियार अभी तक इनके तरकश में जो है। कौनसा...। इस स्थिति में अमेरिका जैसा विश्व का ठेकेदार धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता की ग्लोबल रिपोर्ट जारी करता है कि उस अमुक देश में अल्पसंख्यकों की जान को खतरा है, उनको मानवीय और धार्मिक अधिकारों से महरूम किया जा रहा है। विश्वभर की अर्थव्यवस्था और सैन्य क्षमता में आज ईसाई देश बेजोड़ है ऐसे में जिस देश का नाम इस रिपोर्ट में आता है उस देश की सरकार चुप्पी साध लेती है और धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के नाम पर धर्मान्तरण का काम जोर-शोर से प्रारंभ हो जाता है। आज भारत की भयावह स्थिति है कि देश में लगभग 5 करोड़ अघोषित ईसाई है, अगर इस संख्या को सरकारी आंकड़ों के साथ जोड़ दिया जाये तो यह संख्या कुल भारत की आबादी का 10 प्रति. से अधिक भी हो सकती है। यानि भारत में मानवाधिकारों के नाम पर, धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता के नाम पर हिन्दु नाम की नस्ल तेजी से ईसाई बनती जा रही है और वो दिन दूर नहीं की जब इतिहास के पाठ में पढ़ाया जायेगा कि भारत में एक समय में हिन्दु नाम का धर्म हुआ करता था जो हिन्दुओं की कुम्भकर्णी नींद के कारण स्मृतिशेष हो गया।

दूसरा समाचार:-

ईरान के सर्वोच्च धार्मिक नेता अयातुल्ला अली खुमैनी ने विश्वभर के मुसलमानों का आह्वान किया है कि वो भारत के जम्मू-कश्मीर में चल रहे जेहाद का समर्थन करे। यह पूरे विश्वभर में व्याप्त इस्लाम की विस्तारवादी नीति की एक उदाहरण है, आज सारी मानवता के लिए एक अभूतपूर्व खतरा बन गया है, ईरान के नेता तो भारत के अभिन्न अंग जम्मू-कश्मीर के बारे में क्या पता जानते है या नहीं किंतु भारत के हिन्दुओं को इस बात का ज्ञान होगा आवश्यक है कि कश्मीर समस्या की पृष्ठभुमि क्या है

भारत संविधान के अनुसार एक पंथ निरेपक्ष प्रजातंत्र है। जिसका अर्थ है सरकार सभी मतो- सम्प्रदायों को समान मानेगी किसी भी मत-सम्प्रदाय को विशेष महत्व नहीं देगी। यह भारतीय संविधान का सैद्धांतिक पक्ष है किंतु व्यवहार में 1947 से लेकर आज तक इस पंथ निरपेक्षता को लेकर मुस्लिम तुष्टिकरण का खेल खेला जा रहा है। हिन्दुओं ने अपनी सहिष्णुता के कारण मुस्लिम और इसाई तुष्टिकरण की इस राजनीति का कोई खास विरोध नहीं किया अतः हिन्दु समाज की उपेक्षा लगातार जारी है। इसी तुष्टिकरण के दुष्परिणाम के रूप में आज कश्मीर समस्या अपना भयानक रूप लेकर हमारे सामने खड़ी है जिसके समाधान का रास्ता देश के सत्ताधीशों को नहीं सूझ रहा है। कश्मीर का दर्द आज से 600 साल पूर्व प्रारंभ हुआ था, जब सुल्तान सिकंदर ने कश्मीर पर आक्रमण करके कत्ले-आम मचाया था। उसने वहां रहने वाले लोगो को आदेश दिया था- अगर कश्मीर में रहना है तो मुसलमान होकर रहना पड़ेगा, नहीं तो मरना होगा या कश्मीर छोड़कर भागना होगा यानि सीधे शब्दों में कहे तो तीन में से एक चीज को चुनो - इस्लाम, मौत या पलायन। वही परम्परा कश्मीर में आज भी चल रही है। जो लोग अपना धर्म छोड़कर मुसलमान बन गए उन्होने हिन्दुओं पर भीषण अत्याचार प्रारंभ कर दिए। आर्य समाज की प्रेरणा से कश्मीर के मुसलमानों को हिन्दु धर्म में लाने का प्रयास भी हुआ, कश्मीर के तात्कालीन नरेश रणजीत सिंह भी इससे सहमत थे किंतु पण्डितों द्वारा मुसलमानों का परावर्तन करने से इंकार करने के कारण यह कोशिश फलीभूत नहीं हो सकी। देश के बंटवारे के घाव कश्मीर की जनता को भी सहने पड़े। विभाजन के समय कश्मीर में महाराजा हरिसिंह सत्ता पर काबिज थे, आरएसएस के द्वितीय सरसंघचालक परम पूज्य माधव सदाशिव राव गोळवलकर उपाख्य श्रीगुरूजी द्वारा जम्मू-कश्मीर के महाराजा से की गई मंत्रणा के फलस्वरूप महाराजा ने अपनी रियासत का भारत में विलय कराने पर सिद्धांततः सहमति दी। जिस समय महाराजा द्वारा विलय पर सहमति प्रदान की गई उसी समय पाकिस्तानी कबायलियों द्वारा जम्मू-कश्मीर पर आक्रमण किया गया ताकि सामरिक दृष्टि से महत्वपूर्ण इस रियासत को पाकिस्तान में मिलाया जा सके, इस आक्रमण को तात्कालीन भारतीय प्रधानमंत्री पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू द्वारा कतई गंभीरता से नहीं लिया गया। पंडित नेहरू ने अपनी अंग्रेजप्रियता और मुस्लिमपरस्ती से कश्मीर के राजा के बिना शर्त विलय प्रस्ताव को स्वीकृत करने में अनावश्यक विलम्ब किया जिस कारण जम्मू-कश्मीर का लगभग 78,000 वर्ग किमी क्षेत्र पाकिस्तानी कबायलियों के कब्जे में चला गया। यह तो तात्कालीन आरएसएस प्रमुख श्रीगंरूजी के व्यक्तित्व व संगठन कौशल्य का ही प्रभाव था कि जब तक तात्कालीन केन्द्रीय गृहमंत्री सरदार पटेल द्वारा जम्मू-कश्मीर में सेना भेजी गई तब तक संघ के स्वयंसेवकों द्वारा शत्रु सेना से लोहा लेने के साथ-साथ जम्मू-कश्मीर की हवाई पट्टियों को भी तक अपने कब्जे में रखा गया। संघ के कार्यकर्ताओं के आत्मोत्सर्ग व भारतीय सेना के शौर्य के कारण कश्मीर का वर्तमान भू-भाग तो हमारे पास रह गया किंतु जो भू-भाग पाकिस्तान के कब्जे में चला गया उसे सैन्यबल से प्राप्त करने

आयुर्वेद कितना पुराना है , ये अमरीका और ब्रिटेन को भले ही न पता हो लेकिन समस्त भारतवासी ये जानते हैं की आयुर्वेद , अथर्ववेद का एक उपवेद है जो सृष्टि की उत्पत्ति के समय ब्रम्हा जी के मुख से निकला है ! समुद्र मंथन के दौरान निकले रत्नों में से निकले धन्वन्तरी , जिनके नाम पर हम 'धनतेरस' मनाते हैं , को "Father of medicine" कहा गया है , तथा आचार्य सुश्रुत को "Father of surgery" कहा गया है !

सदियों पूर्व लिखे गए ग्रंथों के पृष्ठ यदि पलटें जाएँ , तो आसानी से देखा जा सकता है उस समय की चिकित्सा एवं शल्य-क्रिया कितनी उन्नत अवस्था में थी ! लेकिन अफ़सोस है कि भारत एक 'ब्लैक-एज' के दौर से गुजरा है , जिस दौरान भारत कि धरोहर, अनेक ग्रंथों को चोरी कर लिया गया और अनेक ग्रंथों को नष्ट कर दिया गया ! ये अमेरिका और ब्रिटेनवासी तो पक्के चोर हैं । इन्होने हमारे ग्रंथों को चुराया फिर उसमें लिखित एवं वर्णित बातों को अपने नाम से पेटेंट करते हैं!

सन २००१ में अमेरिका ने हमारी हल्दी और नीम को अपनी खोज बताकर उसे अपने नाम से पेटेंट करा लिया और हम देखते रह गए ! हमारे आयुर्वेद में शताब्दियों पूर्व लिखे गए ग्रंथों में ही इनका उल्लेख हो चुका है ! ये उन्नीसवी शताब्दी में पैदा हुए एलोपैथ तो सिर्फ चोरी ही कर सकते हैं ! नया क्या करेंगे !

सन २००७ में चाइना ने दावा किया कि उसने 'एवियन-फ्लू' का इलाज 'कालमेघ' नामक औषधि द्वारा ढूंढ लिया है ! हमारे "AYUSH" [Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and naturopathy, unani, siddha and homeopathy ] विभाग ने अपने ग्रंथों का विवरण देकर, जिसमें कालमेघ आदि का सम्पूर्ण विवरण है , सन २०१० में चाइना से ये केस जीता और उसका पेटेंट वापस लिया !

आज के ताजा समाचार के अनुसार , ब्रिटेन ने दावा किया है कि 'अदरख' और 'कुटकी' द्वारा जुखाम (नजला, cold) का सफल इलाज इन्होने ढूंढ लिया है , और पेटेंट का दावा ठोंक दिया ! एक बार फिर 'AYUSH ', ने अपने पुराने ग्रंथों में वर्णित इन सभी औषधीय 'द्रव्यों' को प्रस्तुत करके ब्रिटेन के दावे को ख़ारिज किया !

ये विदेशी क्या जानें कि आज का AIDS, SARS और conjunctivitis जैसी अनेक व्याधियां तो सदियों पूर्व ही हमारे ग्रंथों में उल्लिखित हैं ।

धन्य हैं ये चोर देश जो हमारे देश से ग्रन्थ चोरी करके उसका अनुवाद करने के बाद उसे अपने नाम से पेटेंट कराते हैं। और शर्म आती है अपने ही देश के उन लोगों पर जो अपनी इस मूल्यवान धरोहर का सम्मान नहीं करते ! हमारी धरती वीरों और विद्वानों कि धरती रही है ! गणित से लेकर चिकित्सा तक , सभी विषयों पर मूल्यवान ग्रंथों कि रचना हमारे ऋषि और मनीषी पहले ही कर गए हैं ! ज़रुरत है तो स्वयं में स्वाभिमान पैदा करने कि और अपनी इस अनमोल धरोहर को सुरक्षित करने कि , ताकि ये विदेशी हमारी ओर अपनी गिद्ध दृष्टि न कर सक

भारत की लगभग 95 % आबादी को तो शायद पता ही नहीं

सबसे बड़ा सच जो भारत की लगभग 95 % आबादी को तो शायद पता ही नहीं है की क्यों आज भी हमारे देश को अंग्रेज लूट रहे हैं हाँ थोडा फरक आया है 1947 से पहले तक प्रत्यक्ष(DIRECT) रूप से लूटते थे अब अप्रत्यक्ष (INDIRECT ) अंग्रेज हमें लूट रहे हैं वो चाहे विदेशी निवेश या विदेशी कम्पनियों द्वारा हो बस ये अंग्रेज सालों सालों से हमें लूट रहे हैं और हमारी लूट का सबसे बड़ा कारन है हमारे ही देश के कुछ तथाकथित अंग्रेजों के चाटुकार गद्दार जय चन्द के टाइप लोग ही हमारे देश को लुटवा रहे हैं !

आप सभी को जान कर अजीब लगेगा थोड़ी ख़ुशी और बहुत दुःख भी होगा की हमारे साथ कितना बड़ा धोखा हो रहा है ,

धोखा नंबर एक :- आज़ादी के 64 सालों बाद भी हमारे देश में भारत के लोगों तक मूल भूत सुविधा तक नहीं पहुंची है जैसे रोटी,कपडा,मकान,बिजली ,पानी ,सड़क आदि .

पर दुःख की बात ये है की हमारे ही पैसों से विदेशी फलते फूलते हैं और अपने देश की उन्नति करते हैं जैसे आज़ादी के लगभग 64 सालों से हमारे देश में भ्रष्टाचार अपने चरम पर है पर कोई खास कठोर कानून नहीं है भ्रष्टाचारियों के खिलाफ , जीप घोटाले से लेकर 2 जी घोटाले तक लाखों करोड़ों रूपये हमारे भारत देश के लूटे गए और विदेशी टेक्स हेवन बेंकों में छुपा दिए गए उसमे से अधिकतम पैसा हमारे ही विकास में और हमारी मूल भूत सुविधाओं लगाया जाना था पर इन लुट्टेरों ने हमारे देश में विकास योजनाओ का पैसा भी घोटाले करके विदेशों में जमा कर दिया और हम आज तक भी गरीबी और दरिद्रता की जिंदगी जीने और तड़प तड़प कर मरने पर मजबूर हैं!

वर्तमान में ये पैसा जो हमारे देश से विदेशों में जमा कराया गया है लगभग 400 लाख करोड़ रूपये बताया जा रहा है अब आप ही सोचिये देश में इतनी बड़ी लूट हो गई पर अभी तक भारत सरकार ने भ्रष्टाचारियों और विदेशों में काला धन जमा करने वालों के खिलाफ कोई कड़ा कदम नहीं उठाया ??

इससे भी बड़ी खबर ये है की हमें लगातार विदेशी निवेश के नाम पर धोखा दिया जा रहा है , क्यों क्या जरुरत है विदेशी निवेश की जबकि हमारे देश में वो आज तक बहुत कम पूँजी लेकर आये हैं और उस पूजी का सेकड़ों गुना यहाँ से लूट कर ले गए हैं चाहे वो ब्रिटिश ईस्ट इंडिया कम्पनी या आज भारत में 5000 विदेशी लुटेरी कम्पनियाँ हों !

एक बहुत ख़ास बात और जान लें की आज भी हमारे देश भारत में 89 प्रकार की भुसम्पदाएं हैं जैसे - लोहा ,कोयला ,ताम्बा, सोना,चाँदी, हीरा , एल्युमिन्यम आदि धातुएं तथा गेस व पेट्रोल से लेकर बहुत से मिनरल्स हैं इन सबसे ज्ञात भण्डार (रिजर्वस ) का यदि आर्थिक मूल्यांकन किया जाए तो यह करीब 10 हज़ार लाख करोड़ रूपये लगभग होता है !

इसमें अकेला कोयला ही (केवल ज्ञात भण्डार) 276.81 बिलियन टन है ! जिसका मूल्य लगभग 950 लाख करोड़ है ! इसलिए तो आज कल कोयला घोटाले की बहुत सूचनाएं मिल रही हैं ,

तथा लोहे के ज्ञात भण्डार लगभग 15 .15 बिलियन टन है ! ऐसी ही अन्य बहुत सी बेशकीमती चीजें भारत माता के गर्भ में छिपी हैं ! यदि हमने इन बईमान भ्रष्ट मंत्रियों , अधिकारीयों (काले अंग्रेजों) से अपनी प्राकृतिक संपदाएं लुटने से नहीं बचाई तो ये सब कुछ विदेशी कम्पनियों को बेच देंगे या भ्रष्टाचार घोटाले कर के विदेशों में अपना काला धन इकठ्ठा करते रहेगें , और हम वहीं के वहीं कलपते बिलखते दरिद्रता की ज़िन्दगी जीते रहेंगे और ये भ्रष्टाचारी अत्याचारी ऐसे ही हमें लूटते रहेंगे ! दोस्तों हम गरीब नहीं हैं हमें गरीब बनाया जा रहा है !

कुछ आकडें हैं जो में आप के सामने रख रहा हूँ इसको देखते हुए दिल रो पड़ता है :-

देश और (विश्व ) के सबसे बड़े लोकतंत्र व सरकारों के लिए सबसे बड़ी शर्म व अपमान की बात -

01 - देश में एक घंटे में दो महिलाओं के साथ बलात्कार तीन महिलाओं की दहेज़ के लिए हत्या ( स्रोत - नेशनल क्राइम ब्यूरो ) के अनुसार जो रिपोर्टेड केस हैं )

02 - देश में पिछले 10 वर्षों में देश के अन्नदाता व भूमिपुत्र दो लाख किसानों द्वारा की गई आत्माहत्या. प्रतिवर्ष 20 हज़ार किसानों की आत्महत्या तथा प्रतिदिन 56 व प्रत्येक घण्टे में 02 किसान आत्महत्या कर रहे लेते हैं ! देश के लोकतंत्र पर इससे बड़ा कलंक कुछ और नहीं हो सकता ! ( स्रोत - नेशनल क्राइम ब्यूरो के अनुसार केवल रिपोर्टेड केस )

03 - देश में 84 करोड़ लोग मात्र 20 रूपये प्रतिदिन मात्र पर जीवन -यापन कर रहे हैं और ये 84 करोड़ लोग मूल भूत सुविधाओं से भी वांछित हैं ! (स्रोत - प्रोफ़ेसर - अर्जुनसेन गुप्त व भारत सरकार के आर्थिक सर्वेक्षणों की रिपोर्ट ) और हमारी सरकार कहती है की जो व्यक्ति शहर में अपने ऊपर 32 रूपये खर्च करता है और गाँव में अपने ऊपर 26 रूपये खर्च करता है वो गरीबी रेखा से ऊपर है मतलब की अमीरों की श्रेणी में है ! तो फिर हम पूछते हैं की फिर ये लोग जो मात्र 20 रूपये रोज़ कमाने इनका क्या होगा और ये कब तक इस हालत में रहेगें ?

04 - देश में प्रतिवर्ष 60 से 70 लाख लोग , प्रतिदिन 20 हज़ार लोग प्रत्येक घण्टे में 833 तथा प्रति मिनट 13 व्यक्ति भूख कुपोषण से मरते हैं !( स्रोत - ग्लोबल हंगर इण्डेक्स के अनुसार )

It was midnight. Fr Jose George could not sleep because there was no fan in his room. Jose knocked on Anna Jacob’s door. When she opened it, he told her he could not sleep. She invited him inside, because there was a fan.

Jose had met Anna while conducting a retreat at Kottayam. “Why don’t you come home, have dinner, and stay the night?” Anna said. She lived with her mother-in-law, while her husband worked in Dubai. Jose accepted the offer.

When Jose entered the bedroom, Anna’s mother-in-law noticed. “She prayed till morning,” says Fr K P Shibu Kalamparambil. “She cannot speak about this incident to her son, because that will destroy the marriage. Then society will ask questions about why it happened. That would affect the family’s social standing.” So she kept quiet. But the secret came out when she told Shibu at the confessional. (Every Sunday, Catholics can confess their sins to the priest before Mass. They communicate through a grid or lattice).

The advantage priests have is that when they go to the house of a woman, society does not look askance, according to Shibu. “He has the social sanction. And priests take advantage of that.”

Shibu was a priest with the Vincentian order till March this year. Like Sr Jesme, he quit the priesthood and has written a 160-page book, Here is the Heart of a Priest, in which he talks about his experiences during his 24 years in the congregation. The most stunning revelations are the incidents of sexual misconduct.

“If a woman has financial problems and is desperate, she will approach the priest,” says Shibu. “He will help her, but ask for sex in exchange. She gives in because she has no option.” Similarly, priests take advantage of widows, troubled women, and nuns.

“Most nuns are sexually frustrated,” says Shibu. “To lead a celibate life is unnatural.” Initially, they try to leave. But the older nuns persuade them that it’s not necessary, because things will get better in the future. “Since the elder nuns are trapped, they want to ensure that others also remain like them,” says Shibu. “Nobody is allowed to escape.”

So the young nuns look for safe ways to have sex. “It is either through priests, servants, drivers, or the milkman,” says Shibu. “There are cases of nuns caught red-handed, but the matter is quickly hushed up. And the nun is transferred immediately.”

In the priestly life, sexual misconduct starts early. “Sexual abuse is rampant in the seminaries,” says Shibu. Since it is a dormitory system, it is easy for a boy to manipulate or exploit another boy for sex. “They have no other forms of entertainment, like watching films,” he says. “Neither do they have any contact with the opposite sex.”

Shibu, who was a prefect in a seminary, has caught students in the act many times. “They are immediately sent away,” he says. “Sometimes, a few boys escape being caught and carry on their activities long after they have become priests.”

Apart from sex, money is a big attraction. “Nobody knows how much donation a priest receives in the name of helping the poor,” says Shibu. “The priest also gets cash gifts from parishioners after he blesses a new car or a home. The money can range from Rs 500 to Rs 1 lakh.”

He remembers the case of a businessman who gave Rs 1 lakh to a priest because he had conducted the baptism ceremony of his son. “The priest kept the money instead of giving it to the congregation,” says Shibu. Usually, they buy electronic goods, a car, insurance policies, or invest in shares and real estate.

“Priests are so busy making money, that being a priest has become a secondary role,” he says. “But I heard allegations that the same thing is happening among pujaris and maulvis. I feel disheartened.”

But there were other reasons why Fr Shibu decided to quit. He had an MA in Sociology from the University of Pune, MEd from the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, but was not given jobs commensurate with his qualifications. “The authorities wanted loyalists. They will not promote the meritorious, because they are afraid their positions could get shaky.”

So he had to face the humiliation of seeing juniors appointed principals, while he was given a job as a teacher.

The priests in his congregation are aware of what is happening, but are afraid to speak out. “I thought to myself, ‘Why should I remain silent’?” he says.

“I joined the priesthood because I wanted to serve God and serve humanity. But I was unable to do so. If I wanted I could have made a lot of money and led a very comfortable life. But I know that these compromises will prick at my conscience. So I thought it was better to quit.”

Shibu also admits that there are blessings in the priestly life. “The vocation gives peace of mind, provided one is working in a spiritual environment,” he says. “Then a person is inspired to work for the betterment of society. Priests in many congregations lead dedicated lives, but there is a certain section, very large in number, which is spoiling the name of the priesthood.”

Asked whether celibacy should be abolished, he nods. “In order to serve God, there is no need to remain unmarried,” he says. “The disciples of Jesus Christ, except John, were married. The first Pope was married and had three children. My suggestion is that the Pope and priests should marry. Celibacy forces priests to succumb to temptations.”

He said Christian sects like the Mar Thomites and Jacobites allow priests to marry. “They are respected by society,” he says. “So why can’t the Catholic church do the same thing?”

But this insistence on celibacy by the Catholic church could be based on economic considerations. “If there is a married priest, the church would need to give higher salaries and better accommodation,” says Shibu. “The senior clergy will not have the money for the lush lifestyles they have now.”

Not surprisingly, there are those that do not agree with Shibu. Fr Paul Puthuva, one of the Provincial Superiors of the Vincentian Congregation, says, “The book is full of baseless allegations. Any person who leaves the congregation can level all sorts of unfounded charges. So we prefer not to respond to what Shibu has said or written.”

In person, Shibu comes across as straight-forward and intense, but under mental strain. A person close to him, but who does not wish to be identified, says he is under a lot of pressure from the Vincentians and also his own family, who are devout Catholics. They are displeased with him for writing the book and talking to the media. So, Shibu left.

He now works as a teacher of social science in an Indian school at Doha, Qatar. Shibu himself admits that the road ahead is tough. “But I have courage, determination, and the will to succeed,” he says.

His future plans include marriage and setting up a short-stay home for priests who want to leave the priesthood. “Initially, when they leave, they are not accepted by family or society,” says Shibu. “They go through a tough time. I will provide a room, with an attached bath, as well as a kitchen. A job will also be arranged.”

Asked whether Sr Jesme served as an inspiration, Shibu says, “Yes, her example was an impetus. What Jesme said is the truth, but it has not been accepted by the church. But there is one thing I can say with certainty: truth cannot be concealed forever. One day it will come out.”

हिन्दू-मुस्लिम के बीच प्यार-मुहब्बत के इस “खेल” में
अक्सर मामला या तो इस्लाम की तरफ़ “वन-वे-
ट्रैफ़िक” जैसा होता है, अथवा कोई “लम्पट” हिन्दू व्यक्ति अपनी यौन-
पिपासा शान्त करने अथवा किसी लड़की को कैसे भी हो,
पाने के लिये इस्लाम का सहारा लेते हैं। वन-वे
ट्रैफ़िक का मतलब, यदि लड़का मुस्लिम है
और लड़की हिन्दू है तो लड़की इस्लाम स्वीकार करेगी (चाहे नवाब
पटौदी और शर्मिला टैगोर उर्फ़ आयेशा सुल्ताना हों अथवा फ़िरोज़
घांदी और इन्दिरा उर्फ़ मैमूना बेगम हों),
लेकिन यदि लड़की मुस्लिम है और लड़का हिन्दू है, तो लड़के
को ही इस्लाम स्वीकार करना पड़ेगा (चाहे वह
कम्युनिस्ट इन्द्रजीत गुप्त हों या गायक सुमन
चट्टोपाध्याय)… ऊपर मैंने कुछ प्रसिद्ध
लोगों के नाम लिये हैं जिनका समाज में उच्च
स्थान “माना जाता है”, और ऐसे सेलेब्रिटी लोगों से
ही युवा प्रेरणा लेते हैं, आईये देखें “लव जेहाद” के कुछ अन्य
पुराने प्रकरण

(आपके दुर्भाग्य से यह मेरी कल्पना पर आधारित नहीं हैं…
सच्ची घटनाएं हैं)-

(1) जेमिमा मार्सेल गोल्डस्मिथ और इमरान खान –
ब्रिटेन के अरबपति सर जेम्स गोल्डस्मिथ की पुत्री (21),
पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर इमरान खान (42) के प्रेमजाल में फ़ँसी,
उससे 1995 में शादी की, इस्लाम
अपनाया (नाम हाइका खान), उर्दू
सीखी, पाकिस्तान गई, वहाँ की तहज़ीब के
अनुसार ढलने की कोशिश की, दो बच्चे (सुलेमान और कासिम) पैदा किये…
नतीजा क्या रहा… तलाक-तलाक- तलाक। अब अपने दो बच्चों के साथ वापस ब्रिटेन।
फ़िर वही सवाल – क्या इमरान खान कम पढ़े-लिखे थे? या आधुनिक(?)
नहीं थे? जब जेमिमा ने इतना “एडजस्ट” करने की कोशिश की तो क्या इमरान खान
थोड़ा “एडजस्ट” नहीं कर सकते थे?
(लेकिन “एडजस्ट” करने के लिये
संस्कारों की भी आवश्यकता होती है)

सुरैया तो हिन्दू नहीं बनीं, उलटे धर्म को सतत कोसने
वाले एक कम्युनिस्ट इन्द्रजीत गुप्त “इफ़्तियार
गनी” जरूर बन गये। इसी प्रकार अच्छे
खासे पढ़े-लिखे अहमद खान (एडवोकेट) ने
अपने निकाह के 50 साल बाद
अपनी पत्नी “शाहबानो” को 62 वर्ष की उम्र में तलाक दिया, जो 5
बच्चों की माँ थी… यहाँ भी वजह थी उनसे आयु में काफ़ी छोटी 20 वर्षीय
लड़की (शायद कम आयु की लड़कियाँ भी एक
कमजोरी हैं?)। इस केस ने समूचे भारत में मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ पर अच्छी-
खासी बहस छेड़ी थी।
शाहबानो को गुज़ारा भत्ता देने के लिये सुप्रीम कोर्ट की शरण
लेनी पड़ी, सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्णय को राजीव गाँधी ने अपने असाधारण बहुमत के
जरिये “वोटबैंक राजनीति” के चलते पलट दिया,
मुल्लाओं को वरीयता तथा आरिफ़ मोहम्मद
खान जैसे उदारवादी मुस्लिम को दरकिनार किया गया… तात्पर्य
यही कि शिक्षा-दीक्षा या अधिक पढ़े-
लिखे होने से भी कोई फ़र्क नहीं पड़ता,
शरीयत और कुर-आन इनके लिये सर्वोपरि है,
देश-समाज आदि सब बाद में…। (यदि इतना ही प्यार है तो “हिन्दू”
क्यों नहीं बन गये? मैं यह बात इसलिये दोहरा रहा हूं, कि आखिर मुस्लिम
बनाने की जिद क्यों? इसके जवाब में तर्क दिया जा सकता है कि हिन्दू कई
समाजों- जातियों-उपजातियों में बँटा हुआ है, यदि कोई मुस्लिम हिन्दू बनता है
तो उसे किस वर्ण में रखेंगे?
हालांकि यह एक बहाना है क्योंकि इस्लाम के कथित
विद्वान ज़ाकिर नाइक खुद फ़रमा चुके हैं कि इस्लाम “वन-वे ट्रेफ़िक” है, कोई
इसमें आ तो सकता है, लेकिन इसमें से जा नहीं सकता

24 परगना (पश्चिम बंगाल) के निवासी नागेश्वर दास
की पुत्री सरस्वती (21) ने 1997 में अपने से उम्र में काफ़ी बड़े मोहम्मद
मेराजुद्दीन से निकाह किया, इस्लाम अपनाया (नाम साबरा बेगम)। सिर्फ़ 6 साल
का वैवाहिक जीवन और चार बच्चों के बाद
मेराजुद्दीन ने उसे मौखिक तलाक दे दिया और अगले
ही दिन कोलकाता हाइकोर्ट के तलाकनामे (No. 786/475/2003
दिनांक 2।12.03) को तलाक भी हो गया।
अब पाठक खुद ही अन्दाज़ा लगा सकते हैं
कि चार बच्चों के साथ घर से निकाली गई
सरस्वती उर्फ़ साबरा बेगम का क्या हुआ
होगा, न तो वह अपने पिता के घर जा सकती थी, न ही आत्महत्या कर
सकती थी…अक्सर हिन्दुओं और बाकी विश्व
को मूर्ख बनाने के लिये मुस्लिम और
सेकुलर विद्वान(?) यह प्रचार करते हैं कि कम पढ़े-
लिखे तबके में ही इस प्रकार की तलाक
की घटनाएं होती हैं, जबकि हकीकत
कुछ और ही है। क्या इमरान खान या नवाब पटौदी कम पढ़े-लिखे हैं? तो फ़िर
नवाब पटौदी, रविन्द्रनाथ टैगोर के
परिवार से रिश्ता रखने वाली शर्मिला से
शादी करने के लिये इस्लाम छोड़कर,
बंगाली क्यों नहीं बन गये?

यदि उनके “सुपुत्र”(?) सैफ़ अली खान
को अमृता सिंह से इतना ही प्यार
था तो सैफ़, पंजाबी क्यों नहीं बन गया? अब इस उम्र में
अमृता सिंह को बच्चों सहित बेसहारा छोड़कर करीना कपूर से इश्क
की पींगें बढ़ा रहा है, और उसे भी इस्लाम
अपनाने पर मजबूर करेगा, लेकिन खुद पंजाबी नहीं बनेगा (यही है
असली मानसिकता…)। शेख अब्दुल्ला और
उनके बेटे फ़ारुख अब्दुल्ला दोनों ने अंग्रेज
लड़कियों से शादी की, ज़ाहिर है कि उन्हें
इस्लाम में परिवर्तित करने के बाद,
यदि वाकई ये लोग सेकुलर होते
तो खुद ईसाई धर्म अपना लेते और
अंग्रेज बन जाते…? और तो और आधुनिक जमाने में
पैदा हुए इनके पोते यानी कि जम्मू-
कश्मीर के वर्तमान मुख्यमंत्री उमर
अब्दुल्ला ने भी एक हिन्दू लड़की “पायल” से शादी की,
लेकिन खुद हिन्दू नहीं बने, उसे मुसलमान बनाया, तात्पर्य यह
कि “सेकुलरिज़्म” और “इस्लाम” का दूर-दूर तक आपस में कोई
सम्बन्ध नहीं है और जो हमें दिखाया जाता है वह सिर्फ़ ढोंग-
ढकोसला है। जैसे
कि गाँधीजी की पुत्री का विवाह
एक मुस्लिम से हुआ, सुब्रह्मण्यम
स्वामी की पुत्री का निकाह विदेश
सचिव सलमान हैदर के पुत्र से हुआ है,
प्रख्यात बंगाली कवि नज़रुल इस्लाम, हुमायूं
कबीर (पूर्व केन्द्रीय मंत्री) ने भी हिन्दू

UPA, media have a brazen mission to demonize Modi news report in the New Indian Express dated 30 November 2011 provides an unequivocal insight into the manner in which the CBI has been conducting itself in Gujarat related cases. I quote: "The Supreme Court on Tuesday rapped the CBI for making insinuations saying that the trial courts in Gujarat and its judges were biased and in favour of the state's ex-Home Minister Amit Shah in the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. It is 'complete nonsense' and 'contemptuous,' the Bench remarked in the same breath. The CBI's statement in the chargesheet that the accused in the case have 'presence of their kith and kin in the subordinate judiciary in various capacities as prosecutors, magistrates as well as judges' was termed as 'highly irresponsible' by a Bench comprising Justice Aftab Alam and Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai." The Attorney General floundered in his reply when the Bench asked him whether he wanted the allegations retained or deleted, pleading that he was a late entrant to the case, and would make an application for deletion of the offending paragraphs from the petition. The Bench was hearing a petition seeking shifting of the trial of the case outside Gujarat, and remarked, "At this stage when trial has not commenced, it is premature for the CBI to seek transfer of the case as there is no instance for the CBI to show that the witnesses are turning hostile or there has been tampering of the evidence." All one can say is that the UPA, all its investigating agencies and some of their media friends continue to be obsessively fixated with demonizing Gujarat and Modi. Time and time again, they get caught subverting procedures in flagrante delicto, retract temporarily, and then start again in an utterly remorseless manner, almost as if they have a nefarious mission to accomplish. A mission that has become a sordid article of faith with them, a credo they dare not desert, regardless of the credibility they lose or the illegalities they commit. Well, so long as the government is theirs, these self-styled crusaders come to no harm, at least not yet, and continue recklessly and shamelessly on their mission. { The most shocking revelation is Sanjeev Bhatt’s criminal offence of hacking the mail account of the Additional Advocate General and sharing the id and password with others. This brigade has also become a haven for disgruntled sections of the bureaucracy, who believe that by becoming anti-Modi zealots, they might enter some paradise in the UPA government. They take their cue from the case of a Gujarat cadre IPS officer Kuldeep Sharma, who faced criminal charges and caught the fancy of the Central government on account of his anti-Modi utterances, and was appointed as DG-Bureau of Police Research and Development without the mandatory vigilance clearance from the state government. Another thoroughly insubordinate and undisciplined police officer, Sanjeev Bhatt thought it profitable in his frustration to join ranks with the Modi bashers. Perhaps he too dreamt of the paradise of Delhi, even as a Jamnagar custodial death case of the early 1990s presently dogs him in the Supreme Court. Apart from violating several All India Service Rules (detailed in my article of 2 November 2011) and not filing his property returns, he appears to be utterly careless too. A police officer's most valuable professional assets are his weapon and his information, and any carelessness on either of them can cost him dearly, especially if the information he is careless about is conspiratorial and subversive. And this is exactly what Sanjeev Bhatt seems to have done. He handed over charge and his official computer leaving all his emails in an unprotected mode for all to read. The state government forwarded them to the SIT with a request to place them for consideration of the Amicus Curie and the Special Bench hearing the riot cases to see the real motive behind Bhatt's prayer for transfer of the investigation of K.D. Panth's complaint against Bhatt to the CBI. What emerges from his emails is a sinister harvest of communication between him and the anti-Modi brigade, almost like a conspiracy against the Chief Minister and the state spearheaded by him, even while he is beneficiary of the constitutional protection that he as an IPS officer derives from Article 311 of the Constitution. The mails establish without doubt that Sanjeev Bhatt has violated every rule in the book, and behaves like a law unto himself, having the audacity to assume charge in Ahmedabad, while posted to Junagarh. He continuously leaks his correspondence with government, including an affidavit yet to be submitted to the Supreme Court, to the media and other fellow cohorts. They also reveal a continuous and determined campaign by him against the Gujarat government, virtually imploring the media to highlight his false affidavit, brazenly trying to mobilize the anti-Modi brigade and "pressure-groups" to use the "media card" and influence judicial proceedings before the Supreme Court and amicus curie, and instigating various activist organisations directly to pressurise the amicus curie with a flood of letters. The mails provide conclusive evidence of Sanjeev Bhatt hobnobbing with the Opposition Congress party in a thoroughly illegal and almost seditious manner to concoct evidence against the Chief Minister regarding his claimed presence at the Chief Minister's meeting on 27 February 2002. Top Congress leaders, such as, Arjunbhai Modhwadiya, Shaktisinh Gohil, Krishnakant Vakharia and Nasir Chhipa, are seen in constant touch with him and are giving him "packages" and "materials", and are guiding him. Curiously, Bhatt almost seems to beg Shaktisinh Gohil to provide him with a BlackBerry, something he could well afford himself. Or is Blackberry a code for something else? As the dots get connected, we see an ominous picture of a systematic and larger conspiracy, involving Sanjeev Bhatt, top leaders of the Congress in Gujarat and vested interest groups determined to concoct facts and create false evidence to keep the Godhra riot issue alive, almost ten years after the completion of judicial proceedings. Sanjeev Bhatt leaves no stone unturned, continuously contacting third parties and persuading them to swear affidavits to support the false stand taken by him in his affidavit in the Supreme Court, and send them to the Amicus Curie and the Supreme Court. he most shocking revelation which gives a true snapshot of the character of this serving police officer is his criminal offence of hacking the mail account of the Additional Advocate General and sharing the id and password with others. He exchanged emails with journalist Rajdeep Sardesai requesting him, "Please make someone go through the mailbox of Tushar Mehta...If need be, I can sit with someone from your channel and point out the significance of certain mail exchanges." The silver lining is that Sardesai, now a responsible journalist, seems to have given the offer short shrift. The same emails were shared with another journalist, Rajiv Pathak, whose response was identical in refusing to use the unauthorized details supplied by Bhatt, at which Bhatt gives some pious advice: "Please ensure that the password of TM mail account is neither changed nor shared with anyone else." Rajiv Pathak very maturely replies, "Don't worry sir, since it came from you, I have no right on changing or sharing it with anyone. Since my office is not willing to use this, this becomes entirely your property which I have no claim." The journalist shows much greater ethics than the cop. This is the first of a two-part article.
